Potential Markets
Motor Vehicles
The most significant market is motor vehicles. The CCE
will revolutionise the automotive industry by allowing
sleeker designs and more compact power-plants. The
increased control over combustion will lead the way in
lower emissions and increased fuel efficiency.
International governments are tightening emission laws
which place REVETEC in a very good market position. The
compact design is also favourable with Electric/Petrol
hybrid vehicles, where performance and compactness is an
issue.
Motorcycles
The CCE advantages in motor cycles are similar to other
target markets, for e.g. light, compact and good power
to weight ratio. The CCE is around half the height of
current engines. Currently, REVETEC and Rewaco are
working together to develop the Revetec engine to fit
into the Rewaco series of Trikes. Rewaco's Chairman
stated that he is committed to using our CCE engine
exclusively in all Rewaco products.
Marine
Due to the CCE’s compactness and lightness it is also
suited to marine use. Whether the CCE technology is used
in small craft in the form of an outboard or it |
is applied to larger ships, the CCE
provides a more compact and light engine which increases
available payload space.
Aviation (Small and Ultra-light)
Due to the CCE‘s compactness and lightness it is
perfectly suited to ultra-light and small aviation use.
A major requirement for aviation is to have good power
to weight ratio. Also, feedback from ultra-light
aircraft engineers states that a slower shaft speed
while retaining good torque is more beneficial than what
is currently being used.
Power Generation
Reducing size and weight of existing reciprocating
engines allows a more portable and space saving unit to
be manufactured. Changing the internal dimensions of the
CCE allows the desired RPM to be achieved to suit the
application efficiently. Of course a more efficient
engine is greatly desirable in this market.
Pumps (Peristaltic)
The CCE has the advantage of allowing a hollow output
shaft and is also able to be mounted with the output
shaft being vertical, which opens up specialised
applications and markets such as replacing the diesel
engine in peristaltic pumps. |
