This our another compact Hybrid 12~24V, Dual Axis-solar Radiation Tracking (DART) controller, as yet UN-tested by us.

The ROM series solar dual-axis automatic tracking control system developed and produced by Shanghai Guangqi Communication Technology Co., Ltd. is a controller used to control photovoltaic and solar thermal power generation equipment to accurately track the sun and improve power generation efficiency.

The equipment adopts advanced digital signal processing methods, reliable tracking algorithms and strict mechanical structure design, high-quality photosensitive device selection, so that the tracking accuracy of the system can reach ±0.1°.

At the same time, it adopts light tracking + time control function, and adds software intelligent filtering, intelligent threshold adjustment and other functions, so that the system can operate reliably in various weather and environments.

The core part of the control system contains three main functional modules: light sensor and angle sensor, control board, and drive board.

The light sensor is used to collect the light intensity signal; the angle sensor can collect the azimuth and altitude angle of the equipment in real time, the control board completes the processing, calculation and corresponding intelligent processing of the sensor signal, and sends control instructions to the drive board, and the control system tracks the sun; According to the signal of the control board, the driving board realizes the switching of horizontal and tilting motors, and the driving motor runs correctly.

The ROM system abandons the use of traditional relays, and chooses high-power thyristor-driven motors. At the same time, all components adopt industrial-grade products, which greatly improves the service life and operational stability of the equipment.

The control panel adopts modular design, powerful function and high flexibility, and can meet various needs of large-scale power station construction.

The system has the following features and modules;

  1. Four-layer circuit board design, surface gold plating, anti-corrosion coating and other treatments, greatly increasing reliability.
  2. Limit position protection: mechanical limit switch, software angle protection, pulse counting angle protection are combined with three kinds of protection, which is more safe
  3. Gale protection: The gale protection level can be set. When the wind speed reaches the pre-set protection value, the gale protection mode is activated.
  4. Manual operation function.
  5. Provide RS232 interface, expand temperature detection, voltage, current detection module.
  6. Provide a USB interface, which can be directly connected to computer equipment for easy debugging.
  7. Provide online control function for multiple devices, online can be achieved in the following ways:
    • Wireless mode: Zigbee, WiFi module optional.
    • Wired mode: Ethernet (provide RJ45 interface), RS485 optional.
  8. GPS module is optional. If you do not choose, the customer should provide the latitude and longitude of the installation location of the device, and we will write it into the ROM when it leaves the factory. The system comes with a clock system, but there will be errors. The customer needs to check the time every month or every week. It is recommended that the customer choose the GPS module. When multiple devices are networked, one GPS module can be shared, or the network host can synchronize the time.
  9. LCD liquid crystal display is optional.
  10. When multiple devices are controlled online, one wind speed sensor can be shared. The wind speed sensor should choose a 5V power supply voltage output sensor.
